FEATURES:

• Designed to transport container spreader bars from maintenance shop to the crane and back and provide a low platform for working on the spreader bar.

• Typical scenario has a spare working spreader bar stored on the rear of the transporter in the 20’ position.

• A breakdown occurs on an operating spreader bar.  The transporter is dispatched, goes under the crane and has the disabled bar dropped on the forward half of the trailer.

• The trailer is pulled 20’ forward and the new spreader bar is fastened to the headblock. 

• The broken spreader is then transported to the shop for repair right on the trailer!
